SeaComm Supports Age Well

SeaComm recently donated $1,000 to Age Well in support of the organization’s March for Meals on Wheels. This annual event funds the delivery of nutritious meals and safety checks to older adults throughout Vermont. With help from volunteers and sponsors like SeaComm, Age Well provides essential services to more than 10,000 seniors each year.

SeaComm Supports United Way of Northern New York

SeaComm recently donated $2,500 to the United Way of Northern New York in support of the organization’s upcoming Race Against Poverty. This annual event will support the United Way’s mission of uniting communities, resources, and partners to collaboratively address local needs, foster impactful programming, and enhance quality of life.

SeaComm Supports Hospice of Jefferson County

SeaComm recently donated $1,000 to the Hospice Foundation of Jefferson County. This contribution will support annual fundraising events throughout the year, which fund Hospice’s mission to enhance the quality of life for those affected by advanced illness and grief. Throughout its history, the Hospice of Jefferson County has provided care to thousands of patients.

SeaComm Pays for Admission at the North Country Children's Museum

SeaComm recently paid for admission at the North Country Children’s Museum (NCCM) in Potsdam. This event was made possible by SeaComm’s ongoing Beyond the Branch initiative, which enables the credit union to give back to the communities it serves through random acts of kindness.

SeaComm Supports Empty Arms Vermont

SeaComm recently donated $500 to Empty Arms Vermont. The funds will be used to support their third annual 5K Run and Walk. Proceeds from the event will help Empty Arms Vermont continue their mission of supporting families who have experienced infant or pregnancy loss.

SeaComm Supports Malone Police Department

SeaComm recently donated $500 to the Malone Police Department in support of their reestablished K9 Training Program. With community support and donations from local businesses like SeaComm, the K9 unit will enhance the department’s ability to serve and protect the residents of Malone.

SeaComm Pays for Tubing at Dry Hill

SeaComm recently covered the cost of tubing passes at Dry Hill Ski Area in Watertown. Beginning at 12pm, the first 100 individuals that arrived at the tubing hill on Saturday, February 22, had their tubing passes paid for by the credit union. SeaComm also provided individuals with winter hats, tote bags, sunglasses and complimentary donuts. This event is part of the SeaComm Beyond the Branch Initiative, which enables the credit union to give back to the communities it serves through random acts of kindness.

SeaComm Supports ACK Civic Center

SeaComm recently donated $5,000 towards the revitalization of the Ausable Chesterfield Keeseville (ACK) Civic Center. The funds will support the renovation of the old Keeseville High School into a multi-use community center. With the help of grants and donations from local businesses like SeaComm, the ACK Civic Center will be open to local residents for both educational and recreational use.

SeaComm Supports Samaritan Auxiliary

SeaComm recently donated $600 to the Samaritan Auxiliary. The funds will be used to support its annual One Night, One Diamond event, which is being held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at The Peak in Fort Drum. All proceeds from the event will support the purchase of Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing Equipment for Samaritan Medical Center. This equipment gives the ability for cardiologists and pulmonologists to view precise assessments of heart health, lung function, and muscle strength during exercise.

SeaComm Supports Malone Chamber of Commerce

SeaComm recently donated $750 to the Malone Chamber of Commerce. The funds will be used to support numerous community events organized by the Chamber throughout the year, including the Summer Fest, free concerts, and Santa in the Park. With help from volunteers and local businesses like SeaComm, the Malone Chamber of Commerce continues to provide local residents with fun and entertaining activities.
